Unlike Super-Tank Zyme, conventional permanganate treatments can leave behind hazardous residues or insoluble solids, requiring off-site hazmat processing and increasing sludge volumes. This can create unnecessary costs and lengthen downtimes. Other chemicals, like peroxides and perchlorates, can lead to explosion hazards. Persulfates can cause corrosion and others may generate hazardous gases and high exotherms.
Super Tank-Zyme eliminates safety and environmental risks during and after application. It decontaminates and prepares sludge for landfill. It has an extremely high flash point and an HMIS of 0,0,0. It will not harm skin or clothing, is compatible with all known metallurgies and provides good odor control in most tanks.
