Ammonia is encountered during decontamination of Process Units - especially in hydrotreaters. United Laboratories International developed Zyme-Ox® Plus Z50 to remove ammonia while destroying other contaminates such as sulfides, mercaptans, pyrophoric iron, etc.
This new technology allows excellent penetration, H2S control, pyrophoric iron oxidation, de-oiling and degassing during the same application. Not only are the personnel safer, workers get into the vessel faster without the danger of ammonia vapors or disturbing a high-pH zone.
